UI/UX Designer (Android and iOS)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team and take charge of designing the user interface and user experience of our mobile application for both Android and iOS platforms. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and intuitive designs, developing wireframes and storyboards, designing icons and animations, and ensuring a seamless flow within the application. Your expertise in UI/UX design principles and mobile app design will be essential in shaping the visual identity and user experience of our mobile app.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders, understand requirements, project goals.
2. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows to visualize app structure, navigation.
3. Design user-friendly interfaces for Android, iOS platforms.
4. Develop high-fidelity mockups, prototypes for design concepts, interactions.
5. Design icons, graphics, animations for visual appeal, engagement.
6. Ensure design consistency across screens, components.
7. Conduct usability testing, gather user feedback, iterate designs.
8. Collaborate with dev team, ensure technical feasibility, implementation.
9. Stay updated on UI/UX trends, best practices, emerging tech.
10. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Design or related (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven UI/UX Designer, mobile app focus.
3. Strong portfolio showcasing mobile app projects for Android, iOS.
4. Proficiency in design tools (Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma).
5. Solid UI/UX design principles, best practices for mobile apps.
6. Ability to create wireframes, storyboards, interactive prototypes.
7. Strong visual design skills, appealing icons, graphics, animations.
8. Knowledge of mobile app design guidelines, platform-specific patterns (Android, iOS).
9. Experience in user research, usability testing, incorporating feedback.
10. Excellent communication, presentation skills for stakeholders.
11. Attention to detail, user-centered design focus.

Skills:

1. Motion design knowledge, create fluid animations (Adobe After Effects, Lottie).
2. Familiarity with design systems, component-based approaches.
3. Understanding of front-end tech (HTML, CSS) for collaboration with developers.
4. Experience in designing for accessibility, WCAG guidelines.
5. Understanding of agile methodologies, workflows.
